1 Unit – Planning Phase
Sacramento Custom Home is a planned single-family home combining a curved exterior wall with a single-story form and hipped roof. The concept brings architectural design and planned 3D concrete printing together.
Subject to permit approval, Sacramento Custom Home is expected to be 4DIFY’s first permitted build in the City of Sacramento, with Kaizen Co Management serving as owner-side project manager on its first permitted 3D-printed construction project in the city.
Planned 3D concrete printing and construction
4DIFY’s planned role is the specialty 3D concrete printing of the home’s structure, integrated with conventional construction. The delivery approach calls for 4DIFY to work alongside a separately engaged licensed general contractor, with architectural and structural design guiding the work. The construction scope remains subject to final design, engineering, permitting and separate construction agreements.
Design and owner-side project management
ARC Studio provides the architectural design. Kaizen Co Management provides owner-side development and project management, coordinating requirements, the design team and the permitting process from initial planning through the intended permit approval process.
